Street Dance Championship & Showcase

Eligibility

Only those with a permanent address in Japan can apply.
Since 2015, it has been held as "UDO JAPAN = Japan Preliminary," allowing Japanese dancers to participate in the finals.
This tournament will serve as a forum for communication connecting Japan with the world, providing an opportunity to take on the world.

10:45 Entry for all categories ends
11:00 Team Showcase Stage Rehearsal
12:00 Doors open (general)
12:30 Tournament starts
18:30 Tournament scheduled to end

Stage size: 10m wide x 9m deep

Entry period

Start: July 31, 2025 (Thursday) 10:00
Deadline: Tuesday, September 30, 2025, 11:59 PM
Results: Announced at the venue on the day, and posted on the official website within one week

Entry fee

Each category: 4,000 yen (Solo, Duo, Team, Battle, Showcase, each requires separate entry)

Viewing tickets

S seats (reserved seats): Advance 4,500 yen / Same day 5,000 yen
Unreserved seating: Advance 3,500 yen / Same day 4,000 yen
Elementary school students and younger: Advance ticket 2,500 yen / Same day ticket 3,000 yen
Preschoolers: Free *Participating dancers do not need tickets

The Road to the World Championships

Top winners of UDO JAPAN will advance to:

UDO WORLD 2026 (UK) – Scheduled to take place August 12-16
UDO ASIA-PACIFIC 2026 (Bangkok, Thailand) – scheduled for January 22-25 (rescheduled from Si Racha)
*You can earn the right through both solo and battle. *You can participate in both 1v1 and 2v2.

Showcase

Non-competitive (no ranking/no UK qualification)
No limit on the number of people/any genre
Time: 3-5 minutes
Audio source: Submitted via Gigafile (email notification required)
Props (chairs, tables, etc.) are prohibited
No age restriction
