Encore is proud to present the UDO Encore World Dance Championships — a landmark event bringing together dancers from across the globe for an unforgettable celebration of talent, creativity and performance excellence.

This high-energy event delivers a weekend of competition, showcasing the very best in Teams, Duos and Solos, alongside inspiring workshops and exclusive showcases. Open to all ages and abilities, the Encore World Championships is where passion meets performance on the world stage!

Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or representing your studio at an elite level, this is your moment to shine.

Teams – You may choose a maximum of THREE Dance Styles from the below to compete in as a team.

All TEAM music needs to be a MAXIMUM of 2 Minutes, 30 Seconds. (Please note teams will be penalised if their music exceeds this) The Top 5 Teams, Solos and Duos will be placed with trophies and medals – 1st-5th place.

TEAM MUSIC: To submit your Team Music, please email it to hello@theudogroup.com as an MP3 with the Age Division, Team Name & Category clearly stated. Please also provide a back up on the day (e.g. USB, Phone, Laptop etc…)

Solos –  You may choose a maximum of ONE Dance Style from the below to compete in as a Solo.

Commercial Solos:
Music will be chosen at random by the DJ. It will be a set BPM suitable for the ability & age of the Dancers in that category.

Contemporary / Lyrical Solos FINALS ONLY:
Please Note, Music will be RANDOM for all heats. If you reach the FINAL in your age category then you will be performing to a SET Song. The list of Set Songs for Solos will be released after 1st July 2026. 

 

Duos –  You may choose a maximum of TWO Dance Style from the below to compete in as a Solo.

The list of Set Songs for Duos will be released after 1st July 2026. 

Dancers are permitted to choreograph 6 counts of 8, and then keep repeating this if they wish. There will be approx. 5 – 10 Solos/Duos on the floor at one time.

The DJ will play these set tracks for each age category (For Solos & Duos). The track will be played from the beginning (unless confirmed otherwise) for approx 60 seconds. 

If you are an Advanced Soloist/Duo and you reach the final 5, each Solo/Duo will have a 30 second spot, the music will start from the beginning each time (unless confirmed otherwise)

Please Note: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced categories will be available for Solos, Duos and Teams. There is a possibility they could be combined based on the number of entries we receive. Therefore, the music set for each AGE CATEGORY in Solos & Duos will be the same regardless of if you are a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced Dancer/s.

WORKSHOPS
We pride ourselves in hosting high standard, fantastic quality workshops with Industry Professional Dancers over the weekend. We offer a range of Dance Styles so there is something for everyone whilst also catering to all ages and abilities.

The workshops will be in a variety of Dance Styles.

PARTIES & SHOWS
The weekend is fun and friendly with a themed party on the Saturday Evening. PRIZES for the best costumes will be available!

EARLY BIRD Weekend Spectator Ticket: £95

All tickets include access to the full Weekends Spectating, Competitions, Workshops and Parties.

• Please ensure that the tickets you order are all required as once ordered they are non-refundable
• If you decide to cancel after you have confirmed numbers, you will still need to pay for your tickets
• If you do require any further tickets, they can be bought on the day of the event as long as it is not a sell out 
• The running order for the day will vary depending on the number of entrants registered for the event, we reserve the right to change the running order as and when necessary.
•  All entries to dance need to be done online at least 7 days before the event – this entry is free.
• Please remember all dancers must be UDO Members - you can register for free UDO membership by clicking the MEMBERSHIP tab above
